Jerry passed away around noon Friday 11, 2021. I met Jerry for the first time when I was a volunteer for the Montford Music and Arts Festival. I saw right away that this man had rare talents, along with a giving and sharing personality. Despite chronic health issues, he stepped up and played an indispensable role in the Festival. And then—there he was again, managing all the printing and artwork for the Holiday Tour of Home.
Later, Jerry shared stories from his past on the neighborhood listserve. I knew some of the details from conversations with Jerry, but I had no idea how interesting a life he led. I included several of these stories in Montford Newsletter issues. If you knew Jerry, you miss him as much as I do.
