Donate to the Reed Creek Greenway Project

The project is funded through donations of $50 per linear foot. Accordingly, MNA would like to recommend a contribution in $50 increments, but of course any contribution is welcome. One-hundred percent of the funds donated will go to construction of the trail.  (*Paypal fees are automatically removed by Paypal.  All remaining monies will be donated in entirety).

“This is a tremendous opportunity to turn what was a very bad scenario for the community into a very positive one. Working in conjunction with UNCA, the Montford community, RiverLink, and the City of Asheville, the MNA pledges support for completion of the final section of this vital link,” said MNA President David Patterson

The portion of the greenway between Catawba Street and W.T. Weaver Boulevard represents a key “missing link” in the greenway.

Karen Cragnolin, Executive Director of RiverLink, has announced that donors will be awarded a “Deed of Support” for every $50 contribution.

Checks can be made out to the Montford Neighborhood Association, and list Reed Creek Greenway in the memo line.  Drop the check with MNA treasurer Susan Eggerton at  273 Pearson Drive, Asheville NC 28801.

Each $50 donation is equal to 1 Linear Foot of Greenway.
