Volunteers Made the Festival Work

by Ron Phillips

The Montford Music and Arts Festival could not have been the success that it was without the help of so many neighbors who gave generously of their time to help. With some showing up as early as 7:00 a.m., they got right down to business staffing the MNA booth, greeting people at the street barricades, selling merchandise, emptying trash, and doing the ever-important work of setting up and breaking down.

We’d like to thank the following folks for their efforts:

Pam Brown, Laurence Pamer, Elizabeth Hunter, Pamela Dupuis, Mary Trauner, Alice Weldon, Jean Ann Wheelock, Rebecca Banner, Vic Fahrer, Michael Sober, Betsey Russell, Janet Zusi, Bill Linville, Bill Wheeler, Susan Preble, Frank Cummings, Myra Fuller, Jacqueline Larsen, Greta Humphrey and Mom, Karen Kellow, Russ Wheelock, Kelly Amundsen (a real trooper for break down!), Joe Masters Emison, and a few more folks who pitched in wherever they saw we needed help.

In Sharon Fahrer’s article, she acknowledges the Festival Planning Committee members who worked hard before, during, and after the festival.
